2100m Compatible Toners Gets Clearer Scores

by Bryan SOnners

The reviews of the LaserJet 2100m cartridges are quite favorable. The plaudits are for being user-friendly, for its price and for its relative speed and efficiency. One of many "workgroup" printers on the market today, it can be used at the workplace or at a home office. Smaller than a lot of business printers at sixteen and a half inches by nineteen inches by nine inches, it doesn't take up much space. It only weighs approximately twenty-five pounds. HP literature says its printer can be expected to generate 15,000 pages monthly with HP LaserJet 2100m toner.

If you want color printing, this is not the printer for you as it only prints in black and white. Memory size is nice at eight megabytes. Even nicer is that memory can be expanded up to 40 megabytes. There is some disagreement as to the speed of the printer. Some users find it fine and others think it is too slow. It prints ten pages a minute. There seems to be universal agreement that the printing quality is wonderful. There's a choice of either printing at twelve hundred dots per inch for sharp resolution, or at six hundred dots per second for jobs that need to be completed a bit faster with a slight lessening of quality.

It comes with two paper trays. Tray One, which can hold one hundred sheets, is a custom tray that can print sizes three inches by five inches all the way up to a maximum of eight and one half by fourteen inches. Tray Two holds two hundred and fifty regular and legal sized paper as well as standard sized envelopes. A third tray is offered as an option to enable large jobs to be completed more quickly. Tray Three has the same capabilities as Tray Two.

A lot of people these days work from home. In order for them to keep current at the main office, it is very important that they be able to print to the printer at their official workplace. If the computer in the home office as access to the main office network printer, which this HP printer toner allows, then the problem is solved.

Reviewers have had a lot to say about this printer. Assorted independent reviewers have also written quite a bit about it. What follows are some pros and cons about which they have written.

There is no clanging with this machine. It runs very quietly.

I really like that it is such an energy efficient product.

It is quite durable. I've had mine for years and have never had to call for repairs.

I would have liked for an additional USB port connector to have been included with the initial purchase.

It costs quite a bit more than the old dot matrix printers, so you have to know what kind of quality is important for your job.

I need an output tray that has more paper capacity. The one hundred and fifty sheets are not sufficient for my work.

I am not really pleased with its speed. The print quality is great though. I would think the 1100 and 4050 would be a lot faster.

I like the built-in infrared reader.

As you can see, there are pros and cons that need to be considered when deciding whether or not to purchase an HP LaserJet 2100m printer. The most important thing to do before deciding is to see if the printer accomplishes what needs to be done for any given business. If the homework is done then no doubt the purchaser will be content.

There is no question if HP LaserJet 2100m toner is a good investment. Standards are set and maintained by HP LaserJet printer toner and you'll want to have plenty of printer toner cartridge available so you are never without this excellent printer!
